As of Minecraft 1.18, the game has been updated to change the way that Diamonds spawn. Now, you’ll find diamonds at Y-levels 15 through -63. Y-level -64 is basically just bedrock. Rather than only appearing most often in certain Y-levels, diamonds just get more and more likely the further down you are, so start digging!
Ever had a blue sheep and thought, “I wish this was red”? Well, there is a slightly complex way to deal with this. When an Evoker is near a blue sheep, it will wiggle its arms, go ‘wololo’, and turn the sheep red.
This is a reference to Age of Empires. In this game, priests will make the same noise, and turn enemy units into your units. This doesn’t have much practical use, but it’s a great Easter Egg for Age of Empire fans.
As you may know, sand and gravel blocks are affected by gravity. So, if you remove the block underneath, they will fall. At that moment before the block falls, you can place a torch. This will cause all of the blocks to be broken allowing you to collect them. As a fun bonus tip, you could also place a torch beneath you when digging upwards to prevent gravel or sand from falling and killing you!
It’s a good idea to get some extra help to protect your house. To do so, you can create an Iron Golem. This mob is made by placing iron blocks in a t-shape, as shown above.
Once summoned, the Iron Golem will defend you against hostile mobs that are nearby. Overall, the golems are powerful and durable, perfect for standing guard.
